Terms of Service
Effective date: May 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StudioPilot mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by StudioPilot ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudioPilot. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge the payment method associated with your Apple ID at the rate in effect at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand.
- Cancellation and refunds. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
4. License to Use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or professional use as a fitness instructor, subject to these Terms.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (including routines, class plans, and notes). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to access another user's account or any non-public area of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, our servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding your content), is owned by StudioPilot and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any rights to you except the limited license set out in Section 4.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from the in-app Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioPilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold StudioPilot harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in the United States.
